What is Y1 Money?

Y1 Money is a financial technology app that lets you book fixed deposits, start recurring deposits, and invest in digital gold & silver — all from one place. We partner with RBI-regulated banks to offer you the best interest rates.

Is my money safe?

Yes. Your deposits go directly to our partner banks. All bank deposits are insured up to ₹5,00,000 per depositor per bank by DICGC, a subsidiary of RBI. Y1 Money never holds your funds.

Which banks are available?

We currently partner with Suryoday Small Finance Bank, Bajaj Finance, Shriram Finance, Mahindra Finance, and Unity Small Finance Bank. More banks are being added regularly.

What documents do I need?

You need a valid PAN card, Aadhaar, and a bank account linked to your mobile number. KYC verification is completed digitally through our partner banks.

Can I withdraw my FD before maturity?

Yes, premature withdrawal is available subject to the terms of the respective partner bank. A penalty may apply as per the bank's policy.

How does Gold & Silver investment work?

Digital gold and silver investments are facilitated through Augmont. Your assets are stored in secured vaults and you can buy, sell, or redeem them anytime through the app.

Are there any charges?

Y1 Money does not charge any fees for booking FDs or RDs. Any bank-specific charges like premature withdrawal penalties are determined by the respective bank.

How do I delete my account?

You can request account deletion by emailing support@y1card.com. Please note that active investments with partner banks will need to be closed or matured separately.
